There is no ground floor to these units. Wheelchairs and other handicapped people will not be able to live here. The first floor is sunken half the story, so the second floor is only half a floor above ground level. There is currently no maintenance on site. The pool is serviced 1-2 times per week. There is a newly remodeled barbeque area with a large grill, but small common areas. This is a smaller complex, with less than half the units currently rented. Before we moved in they had renovated most units, but only paint, flooring(poor quality), and appliances and cabinets, however most problems occur inside the walls. Plumbing leaks, community AC unit, very bad problem with roaches. For all this considered, the price was right with utilities included. Just don't expect perfect service, or a perfect apartment. It's in it's growing pains stages.
Being an older single female I was cautious about where I would move to. Moving here has been a positive experience across the board. Management and maintenance are exceptional. The grounds are very well kept and amenities are always in working order. The community is quiet and all the residents I have met are friendly and respectful. I would definitely recommend this property if your looking for your new home.
I been living here for going on a year and I gotta say I love it because everything is included the apartment manager is awesome as long as the maintenance man and they’re always on point on fixing thing. My lease is up in March and I am still going to renew it
It's amazing how Sterling management and their staff attend to the needs of their residents in a timely and efficient manner. Without a doubt, Cathy and Melvin are the best here at the Mark at 87 apartments. Sincerely Detri King
