Pest control is terrible. I'm afraid to turn the light on because of Roaches. The parking sucks. There's no parking for guest unless they pay. The apartments has a tow company hanging out after hours looking for cars to tow. I go to bed worrying if my car will be there when I wake up. The trash bins are always full so there's trash everywhere. If I known what I know now I would have never moved there.
The staff were awesome and understanding before Greystar. I have a bunch of kids banging on my window scaring my kid. The lady upstairs purposely bangs on the floor because she thinks we are harassing her, also scares my kid. I tried talking to the office about it but never gets back to me. Trash is everywhere, the residents are really loud at horrible hours of the night. Charges that weren’t made before we moved here and now being charged. Paying for uncovered parking is ridiculous when half the time I can not find a decent spot. Gates suck. Stray cats everywhere. Dog poop everywhere. The kids are so mean to other kids and fights break out, half the time the parents are standing right there as they bang against my walls. There is no respect here. It’s really not worth it which is why we are moving.
Whenever you call the office to talk about issues, they cut you off and rush you off the phone like you're bothering them, or they just don't answer at all. I put in a maintenance request in September, it's not the end of January and it still hasn't been addressed. The complex is dirty and loud, the gates don't work, the hot tub doesn't work. The units are hell in the summer because of had insulation, and the drawers don't have tracks so woo dust gets into all of my kitchen utensils. Just don't live here, it's awful. And I know that the only response I'm going to get to this review is an automatic "call this number so we can fix the issue" message. But the number is just to the front office and ive already called, it's not even going to be addressed properly by the owners of the complex. It's not worth it to live here
Ahh the Julia Apartments ran by Greystar…. Is it the mandatory inconsiderate construction, the horrible communication from the always short office staffed office… the “could care less”attitude from the office manager. Maybe all the new pricey programs and things they’re implementing that they can’t even give us clear information on how to navigate because the office staff is so poorly informed on it so it ends up costing you more… oh no it’s the empty promises that they’re actually going to help out with something only to never hear from them regarding the subject unless you go and physically ask…. This place is filthy, there is dog feces all over the property, neighbors that are outside on weeknights loud as all get out at 11pm, along with fireworks being set off right outside my bedroom window, children screaming at a pitch so alarming I’ve ran to the window to make sure no one is being hurt. The homeless families bathing in the pool. The amenities that don’t work or are constantly shut down. Honestly if you’re looking for a decent place to live I’d check out a crumby hotel before moving here I’ve been here for 3+ years and have had nothing but multiple disappointments after another. I know I mentioned greystar That is now running The Julia and wasn’t running it before but things So much worse since they’ve stepped in
I recently moved in to The Julia and has been great so far. The community is quite I haven't had any issues. The office staff is amazing very helpful and friendly.
