Food is always great here. Large portions at a reasonable price. Buca has just about any pasta you could think of. They also have fantastic dessert options too. Service is great as well. Overall a great place for Italian.
Delicious Italian cuisine. Portions so large, took home another meal, and I eat a lot. Service was great, on top of beverage refills, I'm a water drinker, check on the food 5 minutes after serving. This young man was well trained, attentive, and clearly enjoyed serving people. 👏
The night started a little rocky having to wait 45 min passed our reservation, however the manager turned the night into an enjoyable evening and made everything right. Our server was not only fantastic but very attentive. We started the evening with delicious bread that tasted like it came out of the oven. Than we got the trio for the appetizer the spicy shrimp not only was drowning in flavor but the kick of spice was nice. The mozzarella sticks were delicious and had a good balance of flavor. The calamari was the only thing I would not order again, the batter had no flavoring and the dipping sauce was bland. For dinner our family shared garlic bread, and the chopped anti pasta salad which are always a must since they don’t disappoint, the rich salad dressing and fresh tasting salad is always a great way to start a meal. We than followed it up with prosciutto stuffed chicken which had a decadent pesto sauce that was so tasty. We also had the Shrimp Fra Diavolo which had a sweet tomato sauce and a good kick of spice that was to die for! For the kiddos we got them meat marinara spaghetti which they always devour, my kids also ask for a side of Italian to add more flavor to their spaghetti. We finished the night with a delicious ice cream Sunday big enough for my whole family to share, and my personal favorite cannoli’s with crunchy shell and creamy sauce inside it was the perfect ending to a fun family meal.
The server kept forgetting stuff that we asked for, and it wasn't packed at all, there were like two other tables with different servers. We ordered the cesar salad (10/10) & the spicy shrimp (9/10) with mozzarella sticks. They forgot our mozzarella sticks but didn't charge us for it. The colossal brownie was a killer, it was so much, but so good. Serving sizes are really big since its meant for sharing, very good spicy chicken rigatoni. I wish the bread had a garlic flavored dressing but its great we get little pads of butter with it.
We came in with 10 people during a Friday lunch. 1 server and 2 other groups. Soft drinks had disinfectant after taste. The margarita pizza had sauce so thin it looked like water paint. The chicken saltibucco was overcooked to the point of not being able to cut it and the proscutto had separated. Meatballs were mushy and flavorless. At over $30/person, we anticipated quality ingredients prepared well. We got what tasted like boxed and premixed cafeteria food. We felt that the nudity and gun violence was not family friendly either.
